Didactic Activities
Our Prehistory workshop for schools and institutes introduces students to prehistoric archaeology through clear scientific explanations adapted to their age, combined with practical activities that facilitate learning, awaken curiosity for science, and foster interest and commitment to our archaeological, historical, and environmental heritage.
WE TRAVEL TO YOUR EDUCATIONAL CENTER
We bring all the necessary materials for the activity. This workshop follows a chronological axis from the Paleolithic to the Neolithic, explaining the most outstanding features of each period.
Thematic Axes
How did our species evolve?
We will address general concepts of human evolution over time. Using skull replicas and educational materials will facilitate learning.
What tools did they use?
We will make utensils used for domestic and hunting purposes (arrowheads, bifaces, hand axes).
What did they paint with?
We will paint with natural pigments and tools as they did, demonstrating techniques such as the airbrush.
How did they make fire?
We will make fire from plant elements, just as hunter-gatherer groups did.
Did they have music?
We will show replicas of instruments found in Spanish and French sites and play them.
How did they hunt?
Students will see replicas of Paleolithic and Neolithic weapons and become hunters throwing assegais.
